To achieve the clean, sharp lines that are the signature style of Bellissimo Cakes we use either a layer of rich chocolate ganache or marzipan underneath the sugarpaste layer. They both provide a firm yet delicious foundation for us to apply the sugarpaste and enable us to attain super sharp edges on our cakes.

We use only fresh, high quality ingredients including real butter and free range eggs and follow tried and tested recipes that produce successful results every time.

All sponge cakes are 12cm in height with four layers of sponge and three layers of filling. They are then covered in ganache and finished with sugarpaste. The ganache filling layers can be combined with Swiss meringue buttercream for a light velvety texture. Fruit cake is covered with marzipan and sugarpaste.

Chocolate Mud

For the serious chocolate lover a rich dark chocolate cake filled with decadent dark chocolate ganache.

Chocolate Orange Mud

The addition of orange zest and Cointreau make this an intense chocolate orange hit.


A lovely light, moist chocolate cake with a hint of coffee. Cake layers are moistened with coffee syrup and filled with milk chocolate coffee ganache and Swiss meringue buttercream.


Light and refreshing, layers of lemon sponge are drizzled with lemon syrup and sandwiched together with white chocolate lemon ganache, Swiss meringue buttercream and home-made lemon curd.

Red Velvet

This deliciously moist cake almost melts in your mouth and is layered with white chocolate vanilla ganache and Swiss Meringue buttercream.


A twist on the Victoria sandwich, layers of vanilla sponge are moistened with vanilla syrup and filled with white chocolate vanilla ganache, Swiss meringue buttercream and raspberry conserve.


For traditionalists, a delicious and moreish rich fruit cake infused with brandy. Baked in two layers and sandwiched together with a layer of marzipan.

If you can’t decide on one flavour don’t worry, keep all your guests happy and choose a different flavour for each tier.

All tiers have four layers of cake and three of filling making them 4¾” (12cm) deep.
A basic three tier wedding cake starts from £395.00.
Sugar flowers and decoration are charged in addition to the basic price.
As a guide, a three tier cake decorated with piping and sugar flowers starts from £500.00.
